Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an individual to actively supervise students in our school-based child care program under guidance of a qualified leader. The role supports strong community relations with families and school staff.

You will work under supervision, participate in activities with students, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment while aligning with district policies and goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and work under supervision.
• Complete at least 15 clock hours of training each year.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to work with school-age children.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Active supervision of students in school-based child care.
• Follow directives from director or leader and ECS procedures.
• Engage students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Maintain safe conditions for students and staff.
• Enforce program discipline policies and procedures.
• Assist with maintenance, storage, and repair of equipment and supplies.
• Contribute ideas for enrichment activities and curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff, and coworkers.
• Adhere to district policies and use facilities appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
