Socket.dev is seeking an IT Endpoint Systems Engineer to manage and optimize our endpoint ecosystem across Windows and Apple environments. The role emphasizes automated OS deployment, enterprise print management with Papercut, and cloud-based identity in Entra/Azure AD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience deploying across Windows and Apple environments.
Proven expertise in SCCM and JAMF Pro.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of automated OS deployment and software packaging using Microsoft SCCM and JAMF Pro for Windows and Apple environments.
Manage cloud-based identity and conditional access in Entra ID (Azure AD) within Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Architect and manage enterprise print environment using Papercut MF/NG for secure, audited printing across campuses.
Act as Apple ecosystem SME for macOS/iOS management via JAMF.
Craft advanced PowerShell and Shell scripts to automate endpoint tasks and improve analytics.
Configure monitoring systems for endpoints and printers to identify issues and preempt failures.
Maintain health and security of servers hosting SCCM, JAMF, and Papercut; perform OS patching and upgrades.
Document endpoint configurations, print workflows, and deployment procedures.
