Job summary

Penumbra, Inc. in Alameda, CA seeks an IT Systems Engineer to deliver end-user system solutions, manage lifecycle processes, and act as an escalation point for complex IT issues. You will collaborate with IT teams to ensure operational excellence and implement standardized asset lifecycles.

Responsibilities include leading endpoint development, deploying MDM (Jamf Pro, Intune), configuring AD/Entra ID, and enforcing security policies. Strong scripting and cross-platform automation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of enterprise end-user support.
• Experience configuring Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDP, Windows, macOS, Office 365.
• Strong expertise in MDM tools (Jamf Pro, Intune, EntraID, Kandji) and zero-touch deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead endpoint-related development/implementation activities.
• Create and maintain end user systems standardization strategy and asset lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with Intune, SCCM, JAMF, Entra ID, AD, and GPO.
• Design, deploy, and manage Mac end-user systems, including OS configurations.
• Implement and maintain MDM solutions for device enrollment and policy enforcement.
• Develop and enforce access policies using AD/Entra ID, MFA, and RBAC.
