Job summary

State of South Carolina through the SLED invites applications for an IT Support professional responsible for enterprise applications, operating systems, endpoints, and peripheral devices at various SLED offices in Columbia. You will install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and document configurations to ensure reliable service.

The role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to coordinate with security and network teams.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma.
• 3+ years of experience in office automation systems or related IT roles.
• Thorough knowledge of PC techniques and software configuration.
• Ability to document processes and coordinate with other departments.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals across SLED offices.
• Assist users with software and data issues; document procedures.
• Collaborate with security and network teams to enforce standards.
• Provide desktop training to personnel.
