Job summary

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is seeking an IT support technician to provide customer support for enterprise applications, operating systems, endpoints, and peripheral devices across SLED offices. You will handle installation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and documentation to resolve incidents.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; degree substitution allowed on a year-for-year basis.
3+ years experience in office automation systems or data processing environments.
Thorough knowledge of personal computer techniques, procedures and software configuration.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, upgrade and support PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners and other equipment at SLED offices.
Assist users with software and data issues; document procedures as required.
Work with security, server, network teams to ensure standards compliance.
Provide training to SLED personnel on desktop computers and SLED software applications.
