Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of experience in technical or desktop support.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or IT Fundamentals preferred.
• Experience with Windows and Mac OS environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic IT asset management.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system preferred.
• Ability to travel 10%-15% to other local DCs; on-site work required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers routine tasks related to imaging, deploying, and supporting endpoint devices for a single site or team.
• Follows documented troubleshooting steps and standard practices to resolve routine local site technology issues.
• Works within IT asset management procedures with supervision on deployments.
• Escalates unclear requirements or risks early; seeks confirmation in ambiguous situations.
• Communicates progress within End-User Support team and with stakeholders.
• Identifies straightforward improvements in local site tasks and escalates out-of-scope issues.
• Participates in on-call support rotation (2 weeks per year).
• Physically handles and sets up IT equipment at local sites as needed.
