Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center as part of the endoscopy team. You will assist with patient care, processing endoscopes, and handling instruments, with opportunities across 8-, 9-, and 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include room setup and tear-down, data collection, aseptic technique, and collaboration with RNs and physicians to provide safe perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Education includes an Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology program, or a Certificate of Completion.
• Licenses/certifications include CER within 18 months and BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate supplies to maintain efficient operations.
• Document patient data per RN and unit standards.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedures.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and restock rooms.
• Obtain specimens and transport per policy.
