Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center and endoscopy team. You will assist with patient care, prepare rooms, and reprocess endoscopes and instruments. The role offers multiple shift options, including 8-, 9-, and 10-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates have an accredited Surgical Technology program and associated credentials, with excellent communication and infection control knowledge to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology program completed.
• Certification and licensure as required for surgical technologists.
• Ability to perform reprocessing and aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care activities in endoscopy.
• Reprocess endoscopes and instruments per policy.
• Prepare procedure rooms and assist physicians during cases.
• Obtain specimens and transport per hospital policy.
• Maintain supplies and equipment inventory.
