Ochsner Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support endoscopy and surgical procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready and sterile techniques are applied. The role requires scrubbing for procedures and assisting with endoscopy, with duties assigned by the RN.

Candidates must meet education and certification requirements and be able to work a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts.

Competenze

• Must graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program or military program OR 5 years Surgical Tech experience.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required; surgical tech certification preferred.

• Organizes activities and supplies based on surgery schedule and department needs.
• Cares for patients under nurse supervision in relation to age and development.
• Communicates patient care needs to patients, families, and coworkers.
