Job summary

Ochsner Health seeks a skilled Surgical Technologist to support endoscopy and surgical procedures by scrubbing, prepping instruments, and providing supplies as needed. You will work under the supervision of the RN to ensure patient safety and operatory efficiency.

Required is graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or 5 years of experience; BLS certification is mandatory, with preferred certification in surgical technology. Flexibility with schedule is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist for endoscopy/surgical procedures.

• Communicate patient care information to team and family when appropriate.
• Maintain credentials and stay current with clinical knowledge.
