Job summary

Carle Health’s Digestive Health Center seeks a Surgical Technologist to support endoscopy procedures, assist physicians with instruments, and reprocess endoscopes. You will ensure a clean, sterile environment and coordinate supplies for efficient case flow.

With multiple shift options (8-, 9-, 10-hour), this role offers sign-on and relocation bonuses and opportunities to work in a collaborative team focused on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
• Surgical Technology certification or equivalent.
• CER or specialized perioperative certifications within a set timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organization and coordination of supplies and equipment.
• Document patient data as directed by RN.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile environment.
• Assist providers with procedures and instrument setup.
• Reprocess endoscopes and sterilize instruments.
