Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide clinical support in the Digestive Health Center and endoscopy team. You will assist with patient care, handle specimens, set up and tear down rooms, and reprocess endoscopes and instruments. Multiple shift options are available, including 8-, 9-, and 10-hour shifts.

The role requires strong aseptic technique, teamwork, and knowledge of perioperative care. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• CER within 18 months per HSPA.
• BLS within 30 days per AHA.
• Excellent communication and infection control principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with equipment and supplies; prepare the room.
• Reprocess endoscopes and sterilize instruments.
• Collect data and document in patient records per standards.
• Assist in cleaning, stocking rooms, and specimen handling.
• Support RN and physician during procedures and post-procedure care.
