Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center and assist the endoscopy team. You will prepare, pass instruments, reprocess endoscopes, and ensure sterile technique for patient care.

This role offers 8-, 9-, and 10-hour shift options with a sign-on and relocation bonus. Strong teamwork and infection control skills are essential to support procedures and maintain efficient operations across the department.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and infection control knowledge.
• Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures.
• Applied basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate supplies and equipment.
• Document data and nursing notes as directed.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile environment.
• Assist providers with procedures and treatments.
• Clean and sterilize instruments per policy.
• Restock exam and procedure rooms.
