The Highlands Ranch Surgery Center, part of SCA Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy to deliver individualized perioperative care during endoscopic procedures. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and a smooth perioperative continuum.

This role requires an accredited nursing graduate, active RN license, and certifications (BLS; ACLS; PALS if pediatric scope). Experience in GI/OR is preferred.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year GI/OR or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification (or within 90 days).
• ACLS certification (or within 90 days).
• PALS certification if pediatric scope is included (or within 90 days).
• GI Nursing specialty certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement individualized perioperative plans of care.
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, dignity and privacy.
• Administer medications safely using the 8 Rights of Med Administration.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures including sedation.
• Maintain physiologic stability and prevent infection.
• Ensure proper scope and equipment preparation; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Practice aseptic technique and infection-prevention standards.
• Educate patients and support persons about procedures and recovery.
• Communicate patient status and provide accurate hand-off reports.
• Document care accurately and timely; collaborate with physicians and team.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety huddles.
