Job summary

Stryker Group in New York, NY is seeking an Endoscopy OnSite Specialist to support surgical teams by ensuring equipment readiness, coordinating disposable products, and maintaining smooth information flow to drive patient care.

You will collaborate with OR staff, SPD and biomedical teams, troubleshoot equipment, manage documentation, and participate in on-call and travel coverage to support multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or equivalent certifications.
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, technical assistance, clinical support, sterile workflow operations, or operating room environments.
• Knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures, and instrumentation.
• HSPA/CRCST certification (required within 6 months for Sterile Processing roles; renewed annually).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work rotating schedules, including on-call, overnight, and weekend shifts, and arrive within 45 minutes when on call.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently; ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and use fine motor skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and maintain surgical equipment and disposables to ensure readiness.
• Support OR teams during procedures by anticipating device needs and ensuring seamless experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain high reliability and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with surgeons, OR personnel, SPD, biomedical staff, and other clinical partners.
• Maintain documentation of procedure information, equipment usage, and monthly metrics.
• Stay current with Stryker equipment and educate staff on product use.
• Follow safety, facility, and privacy standards; maintain professional appearance and customer-focused mindset.
• Provide flexible coverage, including on-call, overnight, and weekend shifts, and travel as needed.
