Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking an Endoscopy OnSite Specialist in the United States (Philadelphia area) to support surgical teams and ensure equipment and information flow support high-quality patient care.

You will prepare and maintain surgical equipment, anticipate device needs during procedures, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime while collaborating with surgeons, OR staff, and biomedical teams. Travel and on-call coverage are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or equivalent certifications.
• 0+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to work rotating schedules, including on-call, overnight, and weekend shifts, and arrive within 45 minutes when on call.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently; stand, walk, bend, stoop, and use fine motor skills for extended periods.
• Visual acuity, color vision, mobility, and dexterity to identify and correct small inconsistencies in equipment or documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills with the ability to make independent decisions in high-pressure environments.
• Ability to clearly explain and follow detailed guidelines and procedures.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel and provide coverage at other accounts as needed, including occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and maintain surgical equipment and disposable products to ensure readiness.
• Support OR teams during procedures by anticipating device needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain reliability and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to deliver excellent service.
• Maintain documentation including equipment usage and monthly metrics.
• Stay current on Stryker equipment and educate staff on product use.
• Follow safety, privacy, and facility standards while maintaining professionalism.
• Provide flexible coverage, including on-call, overnight, and weekend shifts; travel may be required.
