Job summary

Pasco County is hiring an IT Technician II - End User Technology to provide second-level support for end-user computing, phones, and network systems. You will assist with installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting to keep county operations running smoothly.

You will work with MS 365, Teams, Windows 11, VPNs, SCCM and Active Directory, while training users and maintaining documentation. A college degree or equivalent experience is required, and Florida driver’s license is

Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or high school diploma with 2 years’ end user tech experience.
CompTIA A+ or equivalent preferred; required if you do not have an Associate degree.
Experience with writing user documentation, VoIP systems, smartphone email integration, Android/iOS.
Knowledge of Windows Server AD, SCCM and IP subnetting is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide second level support for end user computing and communications equipment.
Support PCs, telephones, and network/telecom systems including installation and troubleshooting.
Coordinate preventive maintenance with vendors and update documentation.
Advise, train, and assist end users on system operations and usage.
Follow standards and contribute improvement ideas.
Duties as assigned.
