Job summary

Pasco County IT is seeking an IT Technician II - End User Technology to deliver second-level support for end-user computing and communications equipment. You will configure PCs, phones, and networking gear, coordinate maintenance with vendors, and guide users in system usage.

The role requires an Associate degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience, with strong skills in Windows 11, MS 365, VPNs, and Active Directory. In-house training and documentation updates are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field OR high school diploma with 2 years’ hands-on experience in end user technologies and networks.
• Experience with writing user documentation, VoIP systems, mobile email integration, Android and iOS, wireless hotspots, and Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level end-user computing support for PCs, phones, and network/telecom systems.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Coordinate with vendors for preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Train and assist end users on system operations and usage.
• Update and maintain documentation and procedures.
