Job summary

Facility Contract Services is seeking an IT Technician in Florida to maintain computers and support users across our organization. Under the Manager of Technical Services, you will resolve technical issues and promote seamless IT operations.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science (or related field) and hands-on experience with Windows OS, MS Office, Track-IT, and hardware repair. Effective communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an Associate's Degree in CS/IT, plus related training/certifications.
• Two years of work experience with micro computing hardware and software or equivalent.
• Experience with Windows XP/7 and MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Track-IT or similar ticket-tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and make software available to users.
• Ensure antivirus is installed, configured, and updated.
• Troubleshoot PCs, printers, scanners, and peripherals; diagnose hardware failures.
• Repair and upgrade computers; liaise with external support for faults.
• Maintain inventory and assist with network/printing devices.
• Provide remote and local helpdesk support and communicate effectively.
