Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Services Order Manager in the United States to oversee end-to-end service projects, acting as the primary customer contact and coordinating with service staff, internal teams and subcontractors. You will confirm requirements, manage documentation, and ensure on-time completion while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of electrical distribution, and project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or applicable experience.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Knowledge of basic accounting or financial principles and methods.
• Ability to review and understand electrical drawings and specifications desired.
• 5 years Electrical Power Distribution knowledge and experience desired.
• Project management experience desired.
• Professional experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and manage end-to-end service projects.
• Confirm customer requirements including drawings, specs, scopes of work and site needs.
• Maintain detailed tasks and notes in the Work Order.
• Schedule and assign work priorities, ensure materials and labor are allocated.
• Communicate with service staff, customers and sub-contractors about delays or changes.
• Monitor costs and escalate unapproved variances.
• Manage Work Orders from start to close out.
• Participate in weekly operational meetings and monthly reviews.
