Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Services Order Manager (OM) in the United States to oversee end-to-end service projects, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. You will act as the main customer contact, confirm requirements, and manage documentation and communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work, coordinating labor and materials, liaising with service staff and subcontractors, and tracking costs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or applicable experience.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Knowledge of basic accounting or financial principles and methods.
Ability to review and understand electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Act as primary point of contact for customers for service projects.
Initiate, plan, execute, and close customer interactions throughout the project.
Confirm customer requirements including drawings, specs, scopes of work and site needs.
Communicate schedule changes and delays with customers and internal teams.
Schedule FSRs and manage labor/resources for each job.
Coordinate with subcontractors and service territories to obtain manpower.
Monitor project costs and escalate issues for approval as needed.
Manage Work Orders from start to finish including close out.
Participate in weekly operational meetings to discuss project issues, backlog, forecasting, WIP, and utilization.
