Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Customer Project Manager in the United States to lead customer projects from order entry through closeout, ensuring successful execution, satisfaction, and financial performance. You will work with customers, sales, manufacturing, vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; engineering degree not required.
• Proven experience managing customer-facing projects with schedules, deliverables, and finances.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, electrical, infrastructure, or related environments preferred.
• Ability to work independently and across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
• PM certifications such as PMP or CAPM are a plus but not required.
• Military leadership experience or SkillBridge participation is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of customer projects, from initiation to closeout.
• Serve as primary customer contact, validating orders, specs, BOMs, and requirements.
• Manage projects from $150K to $10M across multiple markets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; communicate milestones and risks.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, field services, and vendors.
• Monitor performance, track tasks, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead kickoffs and foster cross-team communication.
• Manage costs, forecasting, change control, and reconciliations.
• Support closeout activities including delivery, installation, and training.
• Review documentation and identify opportunities to add value.
