ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to join its Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Birmingham, AL. You will support building enclosure consulting projects through field investigations, testing, technical analysis, and report preparation, collaborating with experienced consultants to deliver practical solutions across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Licensed or certified in at least one preferred credential (PE, RA, IIBEC certifications, BECxP/CxA+BE).

Responsibilities

• Support multiple building science and infrastructure projects concurrently.
• Coordinate site activities and communicate with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
• Assist with proposals, change orders, project budgets, and invoices.
• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates and testing activities.
