ECS Group of Companies in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to support field investigations, testing, and report preparation on building envelope projects. You will collaborate with experienced consultants, interpret drawings, perform testing, participate in design reviews, and help deliver practical solutions for a variety of facilities.

Formación

• Knowledge of building science, enclosure systems, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with building codes and standards (IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, CSI).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform building science & infrastructure related testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations and inspections of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Interpret drawings and site plans; assist with CAD work when needed.
• Perform testing and assist with testing protocols and test plans.
• Interpret test results, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning activities, and building enclosure investigations.
• Assist with design reviews and peer review of specifications.
• Maintain familiarity with building codes and standards including IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, and CSI.
