Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems in Batavia, Ohio is seeking a dependable, motivated assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will work on a 3-4 person production crew assembling panels, insulation, and components for enclosure systems in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires basic tool use, reading prints, measuring and cutting materials, and following assembly instructions while maintaining safety and quality. Welding is not required but considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction, drywall, framing, or general installation is highly preferred.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus.
• No welding experience required. Welding experience is a plus.
• Basic ability to read and understand prints, drawings, or assembly instructions.
• Experience using hand and power tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install panels as part of the enclosure assembly process, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.
• Measure, cut, and install Rockwool insulation into panels according to specifications.
• Measure, cut, and install pink/batt insulation as required.
• Use clamps to properly position and secure materials during assembly.
• Operate impact drivers, drills, and other hand and power tools to install hardware and components.
• Install and work with perforated sheet metal, ensuring accurate placement and proper finishing.
• Drape and install plastic as required to protect components and work areas during the assembly process.
• Measure and verify materials before cutting to minimize waste and ensure accuracy.
• Follow basic prints, drawings, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Work closely with a 3-4-person team to complete assemblies safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Inspect completed work to ensure components are properly installed and securely fastened.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Assist other departments or perform additional duties as assigned.
