Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking a dependable Baffles Assembler with entry-level welding experience to join our Batavia, Ohio manufacturing team. The role involves assembling prefabricated metal panels and structural components using MIG welding, with a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has basic welding skills, can read a tape measure, use hand and power tools, and follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• Basic MIG/GMAW welding experience or entry-level welding training.
• Ability to safely read a tape measure and follow written instructions.
• Experience using hand and air-powered tools is a plus.
• Attention to detail, safety, and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to lift and maneuver metals up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prefabricated metal panels and structural components using MIG welding and bolt-on assembly methods.
• Perform tack and stitch welding with the GMAW/MIG process.
• Work with mild steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.
• Use drills, grinders, cutting wheels, clamps, and other shop tools.
• Read and interpret a tape measure to ensure proper fit and alignment.
