Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking a dependable Assembler to join our Batavia, Ohio manufacturing team. You will work on a 3-4 person crew assembling panels, installing Rockwool and pink/batt insulation, and handling perforated sheet metal.

Ideal candidates have basic reading of prints, familiarity with hand and power tools, and a strong safety mindset in a fast-paced environment. No welding required but a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction, drywall, framing, or general installation is highly preferred.
• Basic ability to read and understand prints, drawings, or assembly instructions.
• Experience using hand and power tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install panels as part of the enclosure assembly process, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.
• Measure, cut, and install Rockwool insulation into panels according to specifications.
• Measure, cut, and install pink/batt insulation as required.
• Use clamps to properly position and secure materials during assembly.
• Operate impact drivers, drills, and other hand and power tools to install hardware and components.
• Install and work with perforated sheet metal, ensuring accurate placement and proper finishing.
• Drape and install plastic as required to protect components and work areas during the assembly process.
• Follow basic prints, drawings, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Work closely with a 3-4-person team to complete assemblies safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Inspect completed work to ensure components are properly installed and securely fastened.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
