Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking a Final Assembler in Batavia, Ohio to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling prefabricated components according to blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or skilled trades, strong mechanical aptitude, and comfort using hand tools and reading a tape measure. Flexibility to assist in related departments as needed is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or skilled trades highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and shop drawings to assemble components.
• Assemble, install, and secure components per specifications and quality standards.
• Use basic hand tools safely.
• Read a tape measure accurately; a tape measure test may be required.
• Use basic mechanical and carpentry skills to complete assembly tasks.
• Identify assembly issues and communicate concerns to supervisors or team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
