BioLife Plasma Services seeks an Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to determine donor eligibility, manage safety, and assist in the donation process. You will assess donors, review test results, and respond to adverse events under center physician guidance.

The role requires regulatory awareness, FDA training completion, and collaboration with BioLife and Takeda teams to support donor care and center operations.

Formación

• EMT licensure in the applicable state and CPR/AED certification are required.
• Familiarity with plasma donation processes and medical screenings is expected.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow FDA training requirements and BioLife SOPs.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent and screening.
• Evaluate donor reactions and coordinate medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Support vaccination programs and report to the Center Manager and Physician.
• Maintain donor safety, environmental health and safety guidance.

Conocimientos

EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-P license

CPR and AED certification

Donor assessment and patient care

Regulatory compliance awareness

Educación

EMT license (state)

Nursing license (RN/LPN) optional
