Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking an EMT to join our Springfield plasma center. You will assess donors, determine eligibility, and support donor safety during the plasma donation process, applying your clinical skills to ensure quality care.

With a focus on patient safety and service, the role offers predictable scheduling, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits program. EMT licensure and CPR/AED are required, with two years of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold EMT license in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certifications.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• FDA training requirements completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and obtain proper informed consent.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory tests and notify donors of test results.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health initiatives.
• Assist with employee incident reporting and EHS compliance.
