Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks Medical Support Specialist to support donor safety and plasma collection operations. You will assess donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and communicate findings under medical supervision.

Qualifications

• EMT licenses (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P) or RN/LPN/LVN licensure preferred.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Familiar with plasma collection regulations and basic clinical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and physical exam.
• Manage donor adverse events and respond to medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable results to donors.
• Provide center-level support under supervision of Center Manager and Center Physician.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu) for employees as applicable.
• Coordinate with EHS on occupational health issues and incident investigations.
