Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to apply EMT skills in donor eligibility, safety, and plasma center operations at our Appleton, WI location.

You will assess donors, manage adverse events, review lab results, and communicate findings under the Center Manager and Center Physician. We offer predictable scheduling, professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; active state licensure as EMT/PN/RN.
• Current CPR and AED certifications.
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and history review.
• Manage donor adverse events and report per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Provide center level support under Center Manager and Physician guidance.

EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P license

LPN/LVN license

RN license

CPR and AED certification
