Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nursing program completion.
• Licensed or certified EMTs in required states.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA training requirements completed.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents per EHS guidance.
• May serve as Pandemic Coordinator as authorized.
