Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified in the state of responsibility: EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Fulfill state requirements for IV therapy where applicable
• Satisfactorily complete BioLife Medical Support Specialist training

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history review
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical issues as needed
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable
• Manage incidents with occupational health/ER guidance
