Qualifications

• Current EMT license in the resident state (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P) and applicable nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Fulfill FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Familiar with donor screening, safety protocols and EHS guidance.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, medical history, and testing review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs; assist Center Physician as needed.
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance.
• Support vaccination programs (HBV and seasonal flu) for employees.
• Assist occupational health/EHS for incident investigations as needed.

Skills

EMT licensure across EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I

CPR & AED certified

Nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)

Education

High school diploma + nursing program equivalence
