Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks Medical Support Specialists to determine donor eligibility, review tests, and manage donor safety within a plasma donation center in Missouri. You'll work under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance, ensuring regulatory compliance and donor care.

Qualifications

• Must hold current EMT licenses (B, A, I, P) and state RN/LPN where duties are assigned.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Experience in donor eligibility assessment and clinical history taking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history interview, physical exam, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance; participate as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
