Qualifications

• Currently licensed or certified as EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P or RN/LPN/LVN.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy where applicable.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent and screening.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage incidents per EHS guidance and assist at center level.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator if authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
