Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks an Medical Support Specialist to assess donor eligibility, manage donor safety, and support plasma collection operations in a center setting. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, applying EMT skills within regulatory guidelines.

This role emphasizes a lower-stress clinical environment, predictable schedules, and opportunities for career growth with Takeda-affiliated BioLife.

Qualifications

• EMT skills applied to donor safety and plasma process.
• Licensed/certified in applicable state (EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, RN).
• CPR and AED certification held.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, medical history, and testing review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for concerning findings.
• Support vaccination programs and EHS guidance.
• Handle occupational health incidents and pandemic coordination.
