Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist in Wisconsin to support plasma center operations with EMT-based clinical assessment and donor safety responsibilities.

Responsibilities include donor eligibility, reaction assessment, and coordination with physicians for medical issues, under Center Manager guidance. FDA training and two years in clinical settings are noted prerequisites.

Qualifications

• State-licensed EMT (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN) in the responsibility state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and history.
• Assess donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical issues or guidance.
