Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to support donor safety and the plasma donation process. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and communicate test outcomes under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

Qualifications

• EMT certification(s) current and in good standing.
• CPR & AED certification current.
• Experience in clinical or hospital setting (2 years).

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, and screening.
• Manage donor adverse events and donor safety according to SOPs.
• Review laboratory results and communicate unsuitable outcomes under physician guidance.
• Support vaccination programs and environmental, health and safety guidance.
• Escalate medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
