Qualifications

• Certified EMT or nursing licensure as required by state.
• In-depth clinical assessment and donor safety knowledge.
• Experience with medical history interviewing and phlebotomy basics.
• Familiarity with FDA and BioLife SOPs, patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and admission requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs for employees where applicable.
• Manage occupational incidents with EHS guidance.
• Possibly serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
