BioLife Plasma Services in Mesquite, TX seeks a Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to ensure donor safety and smooth plasma donation operations. You’ll assess donor eligibility, review test results, and respond to adverse events under physician guidance.

Requirements include current EMT certification (EMT-B/A/P, RN or LPN/LVN as applicable), CPR/AED, basic IV therapy readiness, and at least two years in a clinical setting. BioLife offers predictable schedules and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed/certified EMT or LPN/LVN or RN in the state of responsibilities.
• CPR and AED certification current and valid.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent, medical history, and testing.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and manage medical emergencies.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance.
