Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Beaumont, TX is seeking an EMT-Basic to support donor safety and the plasma donation process. You will perform donor eligibility assessments, manage adverse events, review lab results, and communicate with the Center Physician.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-B licensure in the state of responsibility.
• CPR and AED certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of recognized educational nursing program is preferred.
• FDA training as BioLife Medical Support Specialist is required.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, and confidentiality.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER and EHS.
