Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Tyler, TX is seeking a Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to join our plasma center team. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, review lab test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results, under physician guidance.

Qualifications

• EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-P or RN/LPN certification is preferred.
• Experience in clinical/hospital setting beneficial.
• Knowledge of donor screening and vaccination programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support Center Manager and Medical Affairs in medical issues and environment health & safety (EHS).
