BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety at the Beaumont center. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure compliant, high-quality donor care.

Qualifications include EMT licensure in the state, CPR/AED, and FDA training for BioLife Medical Support. This role emphasizes safety, patient-centered care, and collaboration with Takeda teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P licensure in the state of employment.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Current state licensure for nursing professionals where responsibilities will be assigned.
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history interview.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate results to donors when appropriate.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and provide guidance.
• Support vaccination programs and environmental, health and safety initiatives.
• Assist with center operations under physician guidance.
