Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Holland, MI. You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review laboratory results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings under medical guidance.

Qualifications

• EMT or nursing licensure required or in progress.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• 2+ years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and history interview.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear findings or guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
