Job summary

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a full-time EMS Systems Manager to coordinate the operation and education of the Emergency Medical Services System, ensuring 24/7 coverage across communities and hospitals.

The role emphasizes QA, community outreach, and certification program development in collaboration with Illinois authorities; requires several EMS certifications and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• RN with 3-5 years EMS experience or EMT-P with 5-7 years EMS experience
• Master’s Degree preferred
• 3-4 years clinical experience
• Experience at a Level I or II Trauma Center/IDPH Resource Hospital preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational EMS system for Good Samaritan Hospital.
• Coordinate development and delivery of education for pre-hospital personnel and hospital staff.
• Coordinate QA programs and data reporting for regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
• Lead community outreach and EMS education initiatives and participate in state programs.
