Job summary

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital EMS Systems is seeking a full-time in-office role to oversee the operational management of the EMS system, including education, quality assurance, and community outreach activities. The position requires RN with EMS experience or EMT-P with EMS experience and a strong clinical background in trauma center settings.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, budgeting input, and coordination of statewide certification programs while maintaining strong collaboration

Qualifications

• RN with 3-5 years EMS experience or EMT-P with 5-7 years EMS experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 3-4 years clinical experience.
• Experience at a Level I or II Trauma Center/IDPH Resource Hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and delivery of educational programs for EMS personnel and hospital staff.
• Coordinate Quality Assurance programs and use results for process improvement.
• Lead community outreach and AED Public Access program initiatives as needed.
• Support the development of the Critical Care Paramedic Certification in coordination with the State of Illinois.
• Provide liaison for hospital EMSS programs and participate in regional/state committees as necessary.
