Advocate Health is seeking a full-time EMS/EMSS administrator for Good Samaritan Hospital. The role oversees the EMS system, coordinates education for pre-hospital personnel and hospital staff, and leads quality improvement and public outreach initiatives 24/7 to support 33 communities and multiple hospitals.

The position emphasizes regulatory knowledge, collaboration with state agencies, budgeting input, and ongoing professional development within a large health system.

Qualifications

• RN with 3-5 years EMS experience or EMT-P with 5-7 years EMS experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 3-4 years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and implementation of educational needs for the EMS System, including pre-hospital personnel and hospital RN education.
• Coordinate QA programs and provide feedback for process improvement and education.
• Coordinate community outreach and public relations events related to EMSS/Good Samaritan Hospital.
• Support development and implementation of the Critical Care Paramedic Certification Program with Illinois.
• Maintain liaison for hospital-based EMSS programs and participate in local/state committees as needed.
