Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Full-time EMSS Program Coordinator to lead the EMS education and QA initiatives at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. The role includes developing and teaching continuing education for EMT-Ps and ECRNs, coordinating regional education needs, and overseeing mandatory exams for EMS personnel.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to collaborate across Region VIII hospitals within Advocate Health’s EMS network.

Qualifications

• Develops, administers and teaches the EMS continuing education program for EMT-Ps and ECRNs.
• Oversees recordkeeping of programs and reports back to the System.
• Leads regional education needs development with Region VIII.
• Manages annual mandatory exams for ECRNs and paramedics.

Responsibilities

• Implement EMS System continuing education and exams.
• Coordinate QA activities and collaborate with Region VIII hospitals.
• Teach paramedic, ECRN and specialty courses (PEPP, ACLS, PHTLS).
• Support EMSS Coordinators at System meetings.
